Undergraduate Classics at Rutgers
General Information
The Undergraduate Program offers a major in Classics with concentrations in Ancient Greek, Latin, Ancient Greek and Latin, and Classical Humanities. Minor programs of study are offered in Ancient Greek, Latin, and Classical Humanities.

Are you interested in a career teaching high school Latin?

School of Education for information about the teacher education
programs at Rutgers. These programs require a liberal arts major.
Students receive a B.A. degree at the end of the fourth year and
continue for a fifth year to earn a master's degree in education
and a recommendation for certification to the State.
