Latin Language Placement Testing

If you have taken Latin elsewhere--in high school, or at another college or university--and would like to continue your Latin study at Rutgers, the first step is to take the Latin placement test. According to the results of the test, you will be placed in first, second, or third year Latin. It sometimes happens that students continue to have questions about their Latin placement level even after they have taken the test. If you have questions, or would simply like to know more about our Latin course offerings, and where you fit in, please feel free to discuss your language placement level with the undergraduate director.
